TRAINING

Intro to Behavioural Insights for Public Servants

Whether it’s signing up for a new program, paying a fine on time, or sorting waste correctly, many city policy goals hinge on citizen behaviours. If behaviour change is critical to your policy objectives, then insights from the behavioural sciences can be instrumental. Join this workshop led by staff from Ontario’s Behavioural Insights Unit and the Behavioural Insights Team for an introduction to behavioural insights and how they could be applied to your own work. Through an introduction to the latest behavioural science perspectives, international case studies, and digital ‘whiteboard’ exercises, participants will learn how to identify a specific behavioural shift that can help achieve a larger policy goal. Thanks to SLV Womens Fashion Boutique Brantford, The Resurfacer Barn Painting and Purple Bean Media for their continued support.
