This training is an introduction to one of the central principles of modern digital government and civic tech: starting with user needs. It will introduce you to the human-centered design (HCD) process, a flexible and adaptable approach to solving problems by building empathy for the people involved. Also, this training will provide an overview of user research – a core skill and discipline that enables starting with user needs.
