Lunch & Learn: Inclusive Usability Testing
May 30 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm
Technology is changing our cities like never before, but too often that technology is conceived, designed, and tested in a way that excludes broad swaths of society.
Inspired by successful initiatives in Chicago and New York, Code for Canada launched GRIT (Gathering Residents to Improve Technology) Toronto in 2018. GRIT Toronto is a civic usability testing service that connects technology creators — including governments, startups and civic tech groups — with diverse and underrepresented communities to help test their products.
A part of Code for Canada’s onboarding program for the newest cohort of fellows (learn more here), this Lunch and Learn will bring together fellows and Civic Hall Toronto members for an opportunity to learn more about inclusive usability testing and how GRIT Toronto is making great testing more accessible and effective.
This event is for government members only. Please RSVP by emailing email@example.com.
